Charlotte Area Bakery Offering a Tasty Way to ENDALZ This June

The website for the well-known Amélie’s French Bakery and Café reads, “…from day one we have approached every decision with intention, purpose and whimsy.”

Over the last year, the Alzheimer’s Association has learned first hand about the company’s intention and purpose. First becoming an auction donor for our 2022 Charlotte Memory Gala. Then stepping up as the presenting sponsor of the 2023 gala which raised nearly $500,000 this May. This effort was lead by two of the bakery’s owners, Connie and Frank Reed, who are driven by their family’s own personal connection to the disease.

And now as we enter Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month, the renowned pastry chefs of the french bakery have created a signature dessert to support the fight to end Alzheimer’s.

Visit any Amelie’s bakery during the month of June to purchase a specialty purple macaron for Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness month. 100% of the proceeds go to support the Alzheimer’s Association.

Greater Charlotte area locations include: NoDa, Park Road, Carmel Commons, Rock Hill and Uptown (when it reopens on June 15.)

You don’t want to miss this opportunity to support the mission of the Alzheimer’s Association AND enjoy a tasty treat by the the bakery that Southern Living calls “the best bakery in North Carolina.” Pick up some for yourself, your office, a party or even as a meaningful gift.

Join Amélie’s in support of all those impacted by Alzheimer’s by purchasing one of their limited time Alzheimer’s Association vanilla macarons this month!
