North Carolina Faith Communities invited to participate in Purple Sunday

Alzheimer’s disease affects over 17 million Americans who are either living with the disease or caring for a loved one. In 2023, Alzheimer’s disease will cost our nation $345 Billion. Purple Sunday is an opportunity for houses of worship to begin conversations about Alzheimer’s disease, to shine a light on the disease, dementia, and caregiving.

Put on your purple and join us for Purple Sunday to discuss the impact of Alzheimer’s disease in our community. Together, we’ll learn how to recognize the signs of Alzheimer’s, the importance of early detection, and how to access care and support resources offered by the Alzheimer’s Association.
