In response to Black Friday and Cyber Monday, GivingTuesday was created as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. GivingTuesday is a day for families, businesses, communities and others to come together for one common purpose: to celebrate generosity and GIVE. The Alzheimer’s Association is proud to partner nationally with GivingTuesday and across North Carolina as part of this global celebration of giving.
On Tuesday, November 28, GivingTuesday, donate to the Alzheimer’s Association, and help us raise funds for research and local care and support services. GivingTuesday is about ordinary people coming together to do extraordinary things. No gift is too small.

Thanks to an extraordinary match challenge just in time for #GivingTuesday, you can make TRIPLE the impact on our work to provide care and support and advance dementia research worldwide. In memory of William and Sheila Konar, the Konar family has pledged to triple match your gift, up to a total of $600,000, and their gift will advance critical research efforts.

Give to a Walk Team
GivingTuesday is a great day to make a final fundraising appeal to your supporters for your Walk to End Alzheimer’s efforts. Walk day may have come and gone, but the fight to #ENDALZ continues. Teams around North Carolina are still raising walk funds, so send out your GivingTuesday appeal. If you participated in a walk this fall, use a photo of you at Walk and include it in a post asking your friends to make a donation toward your fundraising efforts on this global day of giving. Make sure you include a link to your fundraising page or Walk Facebook fundraiser.
