Charlotte Memory Gala — Always an entertaining time

In addition to being widely recognized for the outstanding funds raised for the mission of the Alzheimer’s Association, the Charlotte Memory Gala is also known for an outstandingly good time. Live entertainment has been an important part of the event since it began. And we are excited to share information on the musical groups that will be providing that enjoyment this year on May 18 at The Westin Charlotte.

Welcome Reception

Musically Yours is based around the husband/wife team of Randall and Jayne Sprinkle. They are four professional musicians with many years of experience playing live music. Their instrumentation is a little different than the typical string quartet or trio. Having a harp and harp guitar along with cello and violin allows them to provide a unique and particularly beautiful sound from the classics to more contemporary hits.

Check out their compilation video.

Dancing & Entertainment

The Herringbones is an accomplished 5-piece ensemble based out of Fort Mill, South Carolina and entertains the Charlotte area of North Carolina and beyond. Known for their versatility and eclectic repertoire, the group has been dazzling guests for years. From classic rock tunes to contemporary pop anthems, The Herringbones keep the dance floor full with an array of popular genres.

Join influential community and business leaders and enjoy a wonderful event to celebrate the lives of loved ones impacted by dementia and raise funds to underwrite the Alzheimer’s Association’s support, education, advocacy and research initiatives.
