Spring into Action for The Longest Day

The summer solstice is just three months away, so it’s time to spring into action for The Longest Day! Now’s the perfect time to ramp up your efforts – even if your plans may not take place until closer to the summer solstice.

In addition to the great feeling you’ll get helping make a difference, we are excited to announce an opportunity for the month of April. The North Carolina The Longest Day participant with the most donors in April will earn an ENDALZ pullover jacket!

Here are five easy ways to get hopping:

  • Personalize your fundraising page with a personal photo and story.
  • Start a Facebook fundraiser. For step-by-step instructions to setup your Facebook fundraiser through your online fundraising page, click here to watch a short video.
  • Invite your friends and family to donate or join your team! Simply text or email your page to 5-10 family members, friends, colleagues, and/or neighbors and invite them to support your efforts.
  • Download the ALZ app. Use the app to check your progress, send messages, thank your donors and deposit donations.
  • Plan your activity and keep it simple! We can help you turn any activity into a fundraiser. Consider a BBQ, a bake sale, a tournament, a game night, or a craft-a-thon! Let’s set up time to brainstorm your idea.

We encourage you to register and get started today to be in the running to snag this coveted pullover jacket!

Your participation in The Longest Day is essential to raising much needed awareness and critical funds to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association.
