Together, we can make an impact this GivingTuesday

As the holiday season approaches, we’re reminded of the power of community, compassion, and giving. This GivingTuesday – December 2 – we invite you to stand with us in the fight to improve brain health for all, and end Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.

The Need Is Greater Than Ever

Today, more than 7 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s and nearly 12 million family members and friends provide care, often at great personal and financial cost. Here in North Carolina, more than 210,000 people are living with the disease, supported by 381,000 caregivers.

Why Your Support Matters

The Alzheimer’s Association leads the way to improve brain health for all and end Alzheimer’s and all other dementia – by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.

Ways you can make a difference locally this GivingTuesday

  • Give financial support: Your gift goes further today! Thanks to a 2X match, every dollar you give will be doubled. Even better … on GivingTuesday – December 2 – your donation will be triple matched (3X) – helping us fund essential programs and resources, our 24/7 Helpline, and research that brings hope to millions.
  • Support Walk to End Alzheimer’s: Walk event season may be over, but the mission continues. Share your Walk photos and invite friends to donate to your fundraising page or Facebook fundraiser. Every share helps spread awareness and raise critical funds.
  • Support Do What You Love to End ALZ: Do What You Love to End ALZ is a flexible fundraiser that starts with you doing something you love to support the Alzheimer’s Association. No matter what your passion is, you can make it a fundraiser to end Alzheimer’s and all other dementia. Or find a team’s event to support.
  • Give your time: Volunteer your skills and energy to help us with events, programs and advocacy. We have lots of opportunities to volunteer.
  • Give your voice: Help us improve care and advance research by becoming an advocate at the local, state, and national level.
