Sneak a peek at the Charlotte Memory Gala auction


The Alzheimer’s Association will host its annual Charlotte Memory Gala on Saturday, May 2, from 6:00 – 11:00 p.m. at The Westin Charlotte (601 S. College Street) to benefit Alzheimerโ€™s research, risk reduction, early detection, education and quality care for the more than 210,000 North Carolinians currently living with the disease and their 373,000 caregivers.ย 

Chaired by Wes and Allison Misson, this yearโ€™s elegant Memory Gala will include a welcome reception, live and silent auctions, seated dinner, and live music by 5 of a Kind. Guests will have the opportunity to bid on exciting vacation opportunities, unique in-home chef experiences, and much more.ย 

Here’s a small taste of some of the incredible auction items that will be available:

Keeneland Spring Meet 2025
  • Exclusive Keeneland Package: a coveted box for six at Keeneland Race Course paired with a private tour of Runnymede Farm, Kentuckyโ€™s oldest continuously-operated Thoroughbred farm.
  • In-home dining experience from one of Charlotteโ€™s most sought-after chefs.
  • Travel escapes to some of the Carolinasโ€™ most beloved destinations, including Cashiers, Bald Head Island and Hilton Head Island.
  • Live painting by Emily Andress, a nationally recognized figurative artist, created in real time during the Gala in tribute to her mother and her journey with Alzheimerโ€™s. Emily is the founder of Awaken Gallery, where she champions emerging and experienced artists in the region.
