Positioning Alzheimer’s Related Policy in North Carolina After the Election

Alzheimer’s is an important issue impacting voters across the country, with seven in ten voters saying that they are more likely to vote for a candidate who supports policies to find Alzheimer’s treatments and a cure, improve care, and help caregivers. Join us as we navigate through the changed landscape of the election in the North Carolina General Assembly and the N.C. Executive Branch.

During this interactive session, we’ll discuss:

  • The impact of COVID-19 on policy and priorities for those who are cognitively impaired in N.C.
  • Specific actions that could influence the lives of families dealing with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia
  • How to engage with our legislature during these difficult times, working with Association staff to facilitate dementia advocacy

Join us virtually on December 3, 2020 from 4:30-6:00 p.m.
