This January, advocates from all across the Tar Heel state will be coming together to prepare for another year in the fight to #ENDALZ. Please join us as we kick off new legislative sessions both in Raleigh and Washington D.C. This virtual event will outline our advocacy efforts as we look to secure policy wins that will improve the lives of those impacted by Alzheimer’s and other dementia.
During this session, you’ll be provided with the updates, tips, and tools you need to be an effective advocate to your elected officials on both the state and federal level. No prior advocacy experience required! Current advocates and anyone interested in learning more about how to get involved are invited to attend.
Guest Speakers
We will be joined by senior leadership from the Alzheimer’s Impact Movement — a separately incorporated advocacy affiliate of the Alzheimer’s Association that recruits a nationwide network of advocates to ensure our message about care, support and research is heard at every level of government.
