2021 State and Federal Policy Wins for North Carolina

Thanks to the Alzheimer’s Association’s advocacy and public policy efforts, in the last year, on a state and federal level, individuals, families and communities impacted by Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia have promising new support. Here’s just some of the “wins” we are celebrating as we close out 2021.

STATE

In 2021, North Carolina has seen key policy wins that aim to support those living with dementia, their families, and direct care workers right here in our great state.

FEDERAL

As we are nearing the end of 2021, we are looking back at the progress our NC advocates have helped make in federal policy. There’s been exciting movement in federal legislation that would support those living with Alzheimer’s and other dementia. We look forward to continuing to advocate for these priorities in 2022.
