The day with the most light is the day we fight! Leading up to and culminating on The Longest Day – the summer solstice, thousands of participants from across the world will come together to fight the darkness of Alzheimer’s through an activity of their choice. Together, they will use their creativity and passion to raise funds and awareness for the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association®.
The Alzheimer’s Association is on the hunt to bring fabulous volunteers into the fold from across North Carolina. We are looking for amazing people to join us and help us grow the Association’s second largest signature campaign by becoming a member of our Volunteer Committee.
The Longest Day Volunteer Committee is a fun group of volunteers focused on bringing out the creativity in our fundraisers and teams. This past year, The Longest Day raised nearly $400,000 in North Carolina, and people like you are the key to helping us continue to grow The Longest Day across the state. As a committee member, you can help spread the word about this exciting campaign, recruit participants and provide coaching on fundraising and event planning.
If you or someone you know might be interested, we’ll find a role that fits your interests, skills and schedule. Meetings are virtual and committee members can be located anywhere in North Carolina! Help us make an impact in just a couple of hours a month.
