For each N.C. Walk to End Alzheimer’s event …


To be eligible for your team to earn a sign or banner, your Walk team must be registered for a 2024 walk location within North Carolina. THEN, use our fundraising tips and tools to boost your team’s dollars raised. Challenge is based on funds raised between August 12-31.
If you haven’t already, get your team registered for your local Walk to End Alzheimer’s event by signing up here.
Want more tips for success? Check every box to keep up your fundraising pace!
☑ Create your fundraising webpage, if you haven’t already. Be sure to create a customized link to your page to share with friends and family so they can easily donate.
☑ Spread the word and recruit your team members, so they can help the team reach its fundraising goal. Our top fundraising teams have an average of 12-15 team members.
☑ As Team Captain, lead by example and make a self-donation.
☑ Send texts and social media messages from the new ALZ Fundraising mobile app.
☑ Set up a Facebook Fundraiser (available exclusively by logging in to your participant center at alz.org/walk). Participants who create a Facebook Fundraiser tend to raise almost $500 more than those who do not.
☑ Thank your donors.
